Position: Part – Time / On-Site
Rate: $24.00 - $26.00 Hourly

Caladwich Consulting is seeking an Administrative Support & Research assistant to provide general administrative support to NIDDK. This includes, but is not limited to, general administrative support, scheduling and coordinating meetings, and assisting in monitoring tasks
Daily Hours of Operation are 8:00 am-5:00 pm Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays.
Core Responsibilities- SM Expertise in the following fields:
· Provide administrative support of grant applications and related processes by performing specialized tasks requiring continuing responsibilities for projects, questions and issues that arise.
· Perform paper and electronic file creation, maintenance, and disposal in compliance with Federal and NIH regulations.
· Create or edit documents such as spreadsheets, correspondence, forms, reports, and standard operating procedures.
· Attend and participate in extramural staff meetings upon request.
· Provide logistical support and coordination for scientific conferences, workshops, and site visits, as well as review and Council advisory group meetings.
· Maintain and update grant data/querying data in NIH systems and databases and preparing Reports.
· Track, respond, and provide basic information in response to requests via phone or email or direct inquiries to appropriate IC staff.
· Initiate and/or respond to email, telephone, and letter inquiries and provide requested materials.
· Execute administrative task that include the photocopy large volumes of research material, correspondence, reports, charts, and graphs; to include the scanning and duplication of documents.
· Use various software functions to produce a wide range of documents that often require complex formats, such as graphics or tables within text, to edit and reformat electronic drafts, and to update or revise existing databases or spreadsheets.
· Assist in the Travel Support of processing registrations, travel authorizations and travel vouchers.
· Assist in the Preparation of meeting minutes for program committee meetings.
· Process purchase requisitions and oversee office supply inventory.
· Provide Coverage for the Extramural Research Program's reception area.
Requirements
Requirements for Candidate:
· Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Project or Business management or related field
· Minimum of (7) Years experience in managing and performing complex administrative task within Government agencies.
· Working Knowledge of Travel order processing in Government Travel system/s
· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; to include PowerPoint, Access, and SharePoint
· Must be able to focus on computer monitor/screen for extended periods of time.
· Excellent oral, written, and plain language communication skills
· Ability to effectively manage time and interact with all levels of an organization.
· Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
· Experience working with the Federal Government is preferred
