About the role

The Digital Marketing Manager oversees the development and implementation of digital marketing and digital lead generation strategies in support of the corporate and business development objectives of ABS. Responsible and accountable for the public ABS Corporate Website, as well as marketing automation through email marketing, webinars, landing pages, campaign management, lead nurturing/scoring, lead lifecycle management, CRM integration, and analytics for marketing campaigns and efforts. Ultimately this role is responsible for accelerating customer acquisition and retention via external inbound and outbound digital marketing channels.

What You Will Do:

  • Responsible for the administration of the ABS Corporate Website, www.eagle.org, and the management of the ABS content management system and interactive media for deploying website content and other digital interactive tools to reach and engage external audiences effectively.
  • Leads development and implementation of digital marketing strategies, initiatives, and digital lead generation to respond to corporate priorities set out by the business development and strategic marketing teams.
  • Develops and aligns an overall short and long-term marketing automation, lead generation, and corporate website strategy for the company to deliver acceleration of customer acquisition and retention.
  • Works directly with stakeholders in the development and/or implementation of digital-related business and marketing plans and tactics.
  • Collaborates with service and product segment marketing teams to understand and support marketing campaigns with marketing automation capability.
  • Leads and manages a team of website and digital marketing professionals. Manages activities of the digital marketing team and external vendors to fulfill marketing and communications plans for the Market Sectors. Leads the development, alignment, and execution of digital marketing strategies and campaigns through inbound and outbound digital channels.
  • Leads the development and integration of digital lead scoring, nurturing, and conversion with the business development funnel within our CRM platform.
  • Collaborates with business development to understand prospects and lead nurturing and management needs.
  • Configures, defines, and manages the marketing infrastructure and customization of the marketing automation platform, including business rules, scoring, multi-touch nurture, profiling, segmentation, workflows, and reporting.
  • Collaborates with others to support major infrastructure initiatives in marketing automation, our CRM platform, corporate website, customer portal, and analytics platform.
  • Coordinates with IT and external vendors to develop and manage technical innovation, Eagle.org development cycles, server management, and testing of technical tools and platforms.
  • Develops and implement programs, metrics, and analytics to monitor the effectiveness of the marketing plans.

What You Will Need:

Education and Experience

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related disciplines is required.  Related Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • Previous experience in integrated marketing or sales positions with managerial responsibilities is essential.
  • Five (5) years of experience using marketing automation (Act-On, Eloqua, or Marketo), enterprise CMS platforms, web analytics software, and a CRM platform is required. Experience with Adobe Experience Manager, MS Dynamics, or Act-On is a plus.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing digital teams and digital services
  • Minimum of five (5) years in a marketing-related manager role. Hands-on experience developing digital initiatives without technical assistance, as well as launching large-scale marketing campaigns for services or products, is required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience managing websites in a dot.com or e-commerce B2B environment is required. 
  • Google certifications for AdWords and Analytics are preferred.

  • An effective collaborator who knows how to network, manage by influence, and build effective relationships across the segment marketing groups and company functions such as IT and Business Development.
  • A leader who can enroll others behind their strategies. Comfortable and experienced at engaging with levels of the organization, including executives.
  • Experience with Agile, Lean, or other similar methods for streamlining client processes.
  • Strong interpersonal, motivational, and team skills. Exceptional communication (both written and verbal) skills. Experience communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple teams, responding to company and internal customer needs.
