Summary:

 

The FP&A Analyst supports the management and preparation of Fujifilm Sonosite’s worldwide budgeting and forecasting processes. Position is responsible for preparing monthly financial reporting packages, reports, and presentations. Position also works closely with finance business partners to create financial models and analysis to drive decision making and to evaluate projects and initiatives. Position works closely with VP Finance, finance managers and accounting team.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide support to budget and forecasting processes for all regions and businesses, including creating related templates and models
  • Assist with preparation of consolidated budgets and forecasts including P&L, balance sheet and multi-year projections
  • Prepare monthly reporting packages and reports, including identifying insights and trends and providing explanation of significant variances
  • Support month-end close reporting process
  • Prepare monthly and annual cash flow forecasts
  • Work with finance and functional stakeholders to provide business decision support and financial modeling for projects and initiatives
  • Assist in the preparation and review of executive reporting packages and board presentations
  • Present financial and business information to management as needed
  • Identify and implement processes and best practices to drive improvements in the planning and reporting process
  • Manage corporate planning systems
  • Prepare analysis in response to Ad hoc requests

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years finance experience including FP&A, forecasting and budgeting
  • High level understanding of accounting and finance principles
  • Previous experience working in a global corporate environment working with international subsidiaries preferred
  • High technology manufacturing experience preferred

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong computer and reporting skills including MS Excel and PowerPoint; prior experience working with Prophix and/or Tableau is a plus
  • Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills
  • Strong business acumen, collaboration, and interpersonal skills

Salary and Benefits:

  • $90,000 - $110,000 depending on experience + variable bonus opportunity
