Summary

The Warehouse Administration Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the administrative staff in a transportation and logistics company. This includes managing administrative tasks such as data entry, document management, and scheduling, as well as supervising administrative staff and ensuring that all administrative processes are efficient and effective.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage administrative staff, assigning tasks and responsibilities as needed.
  • Develop and implement administrative procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Manage and maintain records, databases, and filing systems.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that administrative processes align with company goals and objectives.
  • Manage and reconcile expenses related to administrative tasks.
  • Manage and coordinate travel arrangements for staff as needed.
  • Assist in the recruitment and training of new administrative staff.

 

Educational background / Work experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in an administrative or supervisory role.
  • Experience in the transportation and logistics industry preferred.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs.
