What this job involves:
As a Senior Facilities Manager at JLL, you will manage all high performing operational aspects of the assigned sites within the account owned and/or occupied portfolio in accordance with the requirements of all local requirements while overseeing the teams supporting your area of responsibility including FM, AFMs, Facilities & Engineering Coordinators. This comprehensive facilities leadership role combines operational excellence with strategic client partnership, requiring you to exhibit exceptional customer and stakeholder service and communication as a client-facing professional while supporting the IFM team to ensure clear management and ownership in driving internal operations and delivering services to the highest possible standards within adequate timeframes. You will play a crucial role in JLL's commitment to operational excellence by bringing people-focused skills including strong stakeholder management and relationship building, continuous engagement and communications, and ability to proactively support the needs of staff, clients and business partners while ensuring the portfolio workplace delivers a great experience for visitors and staff and overseeing some remote sites with ownership of multiple sites and people management to ensure happy customers in your whole community.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Provide appropriate level of staffing in numbers and skill sets in alignment with Client to handle IFM Services, work volume and KPIs
- Develop and implement plans for continuous process improvement, cost reduction and efficiency, innovation and benchmarking
- Fully support Client's initiatives in effective and efficient fashion to drive operational excellence and meet leadership principles
- Challenge and improve all aspects of cost and performance of business while developing and executing annual Team Strategic Plan
- Monitor PPM schedules, O&M's, warranties, Task System, Asset & Life Cycle Registers while ensuring Health & Safety compliance
- Proactively manage spend and budget locally in line with JLL policies including processing of PO's, invoices, budgets, and service charges
- Demonstrate leadership, give direction and mentor JLL team on site to promote engagement and excellency in customer service
- Ensure and facilitate excellence communications with clients according to key stakeholders strategy while maintaining relevant information.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent facilities or property management experience with strong FM background and proven ability to understand hard/soft service delivery
- 5+ years of Facilities Management experience including interaction with senior-level management and managing hard and soft services in corporate offices
- Ability to react quickly and decisively when faced with problem or issue while working off own initiative with minimal supervision
- Strong team player with commitment to support colleagues and ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Knowledge of building systems, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing services with strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Experience in customer facing environment within technical FM services with ability to display initiative, confidence, and professionalism
- Ability to plan and manage financials within budget and time constraints while identifying cost savings opportunities
- Experience with contract management, vendor management and small capital projects with computer proficiency in MS Office and CMMS.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience coordinating, participating and engaging with IFM meeting cadence including operational, strategic and best practice forums
- Knowledge of Building Management Systems, PPM Schedules, Task System, EHS and Quality Compliance with statutory compliance understanding
- Background in Health & Safety during events including contractor supervision and reviewing H&S documentation
- Understanding of office housekeeping and cleanliness delivery to highest standards with soft services functions experience
- Experience networking with regio
