Key Responsibilities:

- Assess residents’ needs and preferences to ensure activities promote engagement, wellness, and social interaction

- Coordinate with staff, volunteers, and community resources to facilitate successful activity programs

- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities, making adjustments as needed to maximize participation and enjoyment

- Maintain activity supplies, equipment, and documentation in accordance with facility policies

- Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation and enhances residents’ overall well-being

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in activity planning, recreation, or a related field, preferably in senior living or healthcare settings

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and engage diverse groups

- Creativity and enthusiasm for developing innovative activities

- Ability to assess individual needs and adapt activities accordingly

- Certification in recreational therapy, activity coordination, or related areas is a plus

- Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude towards residents
