Job Description

This role will be based in San Francisco or Mountain View.

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

As a Senior Manager on the Corporate Strategy team, you will play a critical role in future-proofing the company’s growth by tackling complex, long-term strategic questions with evidence and data-based insights. You’ll identify and assess key trends, opportunities, and risks, while evaluating our preparedness across near- and medium-term horizons. Your work will drive actionable recommendations that shape our strategic direction. 

This role sits at the enterprise-level (across business units and functions) to provide unique insight and perspective into our portfolio. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across LinkedIn to gather expertise, share learnings, and develop fact-based insights that empower the LinkedIn Executive Team (LET) and company leaders to operate with clarity and confidence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver high-impact strategic initiatives that drive business performance and long-term value across LinkedIn’s ecosystem.
  • Independently structure and execute complex, ambiguous workstreams, proactively identifying opportunities and anticipating business needs.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of our various businesses and develop deep understanding of key value drivers to identify improvement areas and opportunities 
  • Synthesize insights from data, market trends, and stakeholder input into executive-ready recommendations that shape leadership thinking and actions.
  • Communicate strategy across all levels of the organization, tailoring messaging to senior and executive audiences and anticipating follow-up questions.
  • Serve as the connective tissue of a cross-functional team (including Product Management, Strategic Finance, Corporate Development, and other internal groups), working to share knowledge and drive people towards a common goal.
  • Elevate the work of others by coaching team members, fostering a culture of excellence, and creating opportunities for recognition and growth.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in engineering, math, statistics, physics, computer science, business, or related discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience in strategy, business operations, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, strategy, or an operational or growth role within a technology company.
  • Experience with SQL and emphasis on analytical rigor
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity, influence without authority, and drive alignment across diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong strategic thinking and structured problem-solving skills, with a track record of delivering executive-level recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling abilities, with experience presenting to senior leadership.
  • Passion for developing talent and shaping team culture.

The pay range for this role is $149,000 to $242,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
