Special Inspector / LA County Deputy Inspector

We are seeking a Special Inspector / LA County Deputy Inspector with CWI & ICC multi carded certs to join our Riverside, CA team! Come join us!

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Safety, having the proper PPE
• On time daily reporting.
• Make sure you have the right tools for the project.

Minimum requirements:

• High School Diploma, GED or associate's degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience
• At least 5 years of Field and Construction Experience
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Strong personal safety awareness.
• A valid driver's license is required.

Technical requirements:

• LA County Deputy Inspector
• ICC's Multi Carded, ACI
• Certifications with ICC, AWS, ACI, IFC. City of LA a plus.
• Daily Reporting done on iPad provided by company
• Experience in preparing reports, ability to read/interpret drawings, technical knowledge, and strong oral and written communication skills.
• Able to read Field Plans.
• Experience with IOS, MetaField, Vantagepoint (Deltek)
• Knowlege of Construction Materials, Concrete, Aggregates, HMA, Soils

Other miscellaneous qualities:

• Ability to travel, at least 50% of the time within LA, OC, IE, Ventura Counties.
• Strong ability with problem solving on the job.
• Flexibility to work outside normal business hours as required

Compensation:

$30 - $45 hourly

The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the state’s law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
