Job Description
The VP of Marketing is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies, leading a marketing team, and driving brand awareness and revenue growth.
Primary duties include:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to align with business goals and increase brand awareness.
- Develop the annual marketing plan and the strategies, tactics and resources necessary to achieve system and goals.
- Provide leadership and/or support on the design, development, and implementation of products and material.
- Oversee and provide direction to market and competitor analysis.
- Provide leadership, direction and management of the market research function.
- Experience in traditional marketing, including print, direct mail, radio, television, and event-based promotions.
- Expertise in brand development, ensuring consistency across messaging, visual identity, and audience engagement.
- Strong knowledge of market research methodologies to assess brand perception and competitive landscapes.
- Create an institutional and system-wide marketing reporting function that can track, measure and analyze performance.
- Ensure all marketing communications are coordinated, supports marketing plan objectives and manages effective expenditure of resources.
- Set current and long-term goals for internal teams.
- Provide input and support to the company’s leadership in the development of joint ventures, affiliations and partnership arrangements.
- Provide marketing skills and expertise to the company by building, developing and managing a marketing team capable of carrying out the necessary marketing strategies and tactics.
- Lead and manage the marketing team, ensuring efficient execution of campaigns.
- Maintain a prioritized product backlog for all assigned projects based on business value.
- Design and oversee the marketing budget to ensure resources are allocated effectively.
- Monitor and improve marketing campaigns, ensuring they meet objectives.
- Conduct research to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
- Work closely with other departments to align strategies.
- Build relationships with media and stakeholders through creative PR strategies.
- Experience in B2B2C marketing, developing strategies that effectively engage both business partners and end consumers.
- Develop and execute multi-layered marketing campaigns that enhance brand positioning for business clients while simultaneously driving consumer demand and fostering customer loyalty.
- Regular and predictable attendance is a requirement of this position.
- Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of demand generation and/or customer acquisition for high-growth companies.
- 5+ years of people management experience.
- Proven track record in senior marketing roles as either a Marketing Director or
