Your Role: Driving Excellence, Together

As a Director, Clinical Solutions – MID, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor and hands-on partner for our MID customers. You will:

  • Partner Closely with the GPO: Work alongside the GPO to identify, Implement, and optimize evidence-based strategies and tools that improve workflow efficiency, reduce operational costs, and support long-term financial health for practices.

  • Tailor Messaging for Diverse Audiences: Communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including pharmacists, technicians, nurses, physicians, practice administrators, CFOs, and CEOs. You’ll adapt your approach to ensure clarity, engagement, and impact for each audience.

  • Master Storytelling: Present complex data and concepts in compelling, relatable narratives that inspire action and foster understanding across all levels of the organization.

  • Organize, Analyze, and Advise: Collect and structure data, perform in-depth analysis, and extract key insights. Translate findings into actionable recommendations that empower practices to maximize their business performance.

  • Lead Strategic Engagements: Facilitate Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and Therapeutic Interchange Conversations (TICs), delivering actionable insights and fostering collaborative planning.

  • Deliver Clinical & Operational Support: Guide practices on new drug approvals, therapeutic interchange opportunities, and clinical strategy discussions. Offer tailored recommendations on treatment protocols and medication selection for oncology and multispecialty practices to enhance patient outcomes

  • Coach & Educate: Develop and present educational materials—handouts, FAQs, webinars, and master class videos—focused on workflow optimization, regulatory compliance, and clinical decision-making to empower teams and drive adoption of proven operational strategies. Additionally, present at McKesson-hosted national conferences through solo sessions and panel discussions, leveraging subject matter expertise to drive engagement and knowledge sharing.

  • Champion New Implementations: Play a critical role in onboarding new MID practices—participate in kickoff calls, on-site visits, and bi-weekly implementation meetings to ensure operational readiness and regulatory alignment.

  • Collaborate Across Functions: Work with account managers, business development, and GPO teams to deliver comprehensive solutions and support practice growth, while collaborating closely with the broader advisory services team—including clinical directors, business advisors, and data analysts—to provide integrated insights and strategic guidance.

  • Stay Ahead: Attend industry conferences and manufacturer meetings to keep your knowledge fresh and share insights with your team.

  • Adapt & Grow: Take on additional projects related to MID optimization, process improvement, or customer engagement as business needs evolve, supporting both internal teams and external stakeholders in pursuit of our shared mission.

Minimum Requirement

  • Licensed Pharmacist (any state) typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.

Critical Skills

  • 7+ years of relevant experience (2+ years of community oncology and/or multispecialty experience required)

  • 2+ years of management and leadership experience preferred

  • PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy; active license required; MBA, Board Certification, or advanced degree a plus
