The Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS) Strategic Business Unit (SBU) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager, Contracts within the Medium Range Air Defense (MRAD) program area. This candidate will play an integral role as a member of the program team, focusing on contract proposal, negotiation, execution and closeout. The portfolio is comprised of Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) for the production, integration, technical assistance, and sustainment of the NASAMS® system. The successful candidate will support a major FMS customer, contract with Army Contracting Command (ACC) and supervise 1-3 Contracts team members.

What You Will Do
Serve as the Contracts Lead during the pre-proposal strategy, proposal development, negotiation, and start-up phases of programs
Coach and mentor other Contracts team members
Analyze Requests for Proposal (RFP), development of proposals, proposal reviews and coordination, negotiation, contractual agreements, contracts execution, and contract administration
Work closely within cross-functional teams to construct, submit, and negotiate terms and conditions and pricing proposal
Provide guidance regarding contractual and business issues, advising management of contractual rights and obligations as well as possible mitigation of contractual and program risks
Establish and enhance effective working relationships with customers and internal partners, to include Program Management, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, and other functions to drive closure on complex contractual issues and achieve business results
Demonstrate business acumen and provide sound contract management to meet customer obligations, achieve company objectives, and comply with company policies
Effectively manage contractual scope and terms and conditions to ensure work is performed to the overall contract scope
Effectively communicate with senior leadership regarding matters of strategic importance to the organization
Up to 10% travel will be required to customer locations and Raytheon locations in Massachusetts, Arizona, California, and Alabama
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum
