Job Description
Our Global Payroll team is looking to hire a US-based Payroll Specialist. This is an exciting role to be part of an agile and energetic team. This role is currently a 6-9+ month contract.
The role involves:
- Supporting the accurate & timely processing, payment and submission of:
- Global payroll and associated processes
- State tax setup and maintenance
- ROW employment taxes-related filings
- Providing advice and guidance regarding benefits to employees & the wider HR function
- Liaising with internal and external providers as necessary, acting as a key contact with payroll and benefit providers and governmental authorities
- Basic system reporting e.g. absence, pay
- Prepare payroll summary pack for sign off
- Support the development and roll-out of benefits programs globally
- Providing a pro-active customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting payroll and benefit related projects in areas of primary responsibility
- Map processes, mitigate risks and develop & maintain standard operating procedures for People Services Operations
- Contributes to internal and external payroll audit processes
- Support the development and training of team members
Qualifications
You have a minimum of 2 years experience with US Payroll and have the willingness to learn Global Payroll polices/practices. You have experience with Paycor, Microsoft Excel and Oracle (or a similar ERP system). You have experience running various payroll reports and are confident in presenting information to management. You have experience working with multi-state payroll.
You have a proven track record of delivering results and consistently maintaining an exceptional level of customer service. You are able to work independently, as well as part of a team. You have a demonstrable track record of flexibility, meeting tight deadlines and management of competing priorities.
