Refrigeration Maintenance 1st shift Pine Bluff

Job Details:

Schedule - Wednesday - Wednesday (7 on and 7 off)

Hours - 5:00 am - 5:30 pm

Pay - depending on skill level

Job Description:

• This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
• Responsible for making hourly checks and documenting the readings for all the ammonia systems including compressors, condensers, evaporators, re-circulators, and any piping and associated equipment.
• Must be able to follow instructions both written and orally. In addition to the ammonia systems, this person is responsible for Forklift preventative maintenance/repair and any other duties as assigned.
• Perform daily inspections on the equipment and perform mandatory checks multiple times a day.
• Visually inspect all their assigned equipment on the roof and within the plant regularly and reporting any ammonia issues to the supervisor.
• Develop a thorough knowledge of facility layout, tools, parts and equipment.
• Maintain and monitor the refrigeration equipment within safety standards for the entire facility.
• Good math, reading and writing skills to properly monitor equipment, check and record data.

Requirements :

 

 Refrigeration experience/certification listed and/or 2 years of experience in refrigeration.

• Prior Employee Waiting Period: If you were previously employed at Tyson, there’s a 365-day waiting period before you can reapply.
• Number of Times Worked at Tyson: You can apply if you’ve worked at Tyson no more than three times.
• Failed Drug Screen - if you had a failed drug screen, you must wait 6 months before reapplying.
