Software Development Professionals, We Want You!
Northrop Grumman’s Chief Information & Digital Office (CIDO) is seeking a Level 2 (novice to mid-career) Software Development Analyst to support the Mixed Signal and RF electrical design and analysis tools (Cadence, Keysight, and Ansys) for multiple Northrop Grumman sector organizations (Space Systems, Aeronautics Systems, and Defense Systems).
General speaking, the Software Analyst will research, design, develop, and/or modify enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software; Be involved in planning of system and development deployment, as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards; Will evaluate interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system; And documents testing and maintenance of system corrections.
Specific to this position, the selected candidate will deploy, support, customize, and maintain the suite of commercial applications used by the Electrical Engineering departments of the various sectors of Northrop Grumman. This will include Cadence, Keysight, and Ansys tool suites, as well as RF/Antenna tools (among others). The candidate must be able to read and be familiar with electrical engineering schematics, perform circuit analysis, and troubleshoot integrated circuit Process Design Kits (PDKs).
Role and Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support engineering applications from Cadence, Ansys, Keysight
- Maintain and support the major vendors software licenses and renewals
- Administration of Cadence PDK, license daemon, and software store tool package
- End-user technical support of Mixed Signal/RF applications, including, in support of development and production environments
- Perform root case analysis, debugging problems within the environment, and working with the appropriate technical teams to develop, test, and implement fixes to prevent recurrence
- Monitor, address, and resolve production environment incidents, service requests, workflows, client install packages, etc., collaboratively with other support teams
- Document all aspects of the system in KB articles to share with supporting team members and users
- Maintain and support virtual license servers in Linux and Windows using FLEXLM and Altera License monitoring agents

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of software analysis, electrical engineering, and/or applications analysis experience; OR a Master's degree in a STEM related discipline with 3 months of software analysis, electrical engineering, and/or applications analysis experience is required
