Funding Lead

Description

We are seeking a proactive and organized Funding Lead to join our Funding Operations team. This role will be responsible for helping standardize the funding submission process and ensuring the accuracy and timely completion of financial milestone applications for financing partner approval. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Installs, Design, and Work Orders, to ensure all documentation is collected, verified, and submitted in accordance with our financiers' standards and requirements. The Funding Lead will also play a critical role in identifying and mitigating risks to project timelines and in mentoring other team members as the team continues to grow.

Responsibilities: 

• Train and support other funding coordinators. Share best practices, provide guidance, and assist in developing training materials to improve team performance.
• Contribute to the development and execution of team strategies to optimize funding processes and improve overall efficiency. Collaborate with senior leadership to drive process improvements and achieve departmental objectives.
• Work with sales representatives to gather needed documentation for the M1 / Project Qualification submission.
• Work with the design team to match installation photos with system models and verify production for the M2 / Installation Completion submission.
• Work with the Interconnection and Work Orders team to verify utility approval and production monitoring for M3 / System Activation submission.

• Ability to quickly understand complex processes, systems, and documentation requirements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information across multiple departments.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, managing multiple tasks and deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Willing to work overtime as needed
• Punctual and consistent in-office presence to support daily operations effectively
