M-F days with rotating weekends

  • 8:00 am-4:30 pm

Advocate Aurora Medical Group is recruiting a full time experienced Advanced Practice Clinician to join the Gastroenterology team!

Position Requirements:

  • Evaluation of new and established GI patients

  • Patient education on treatment plan and preventative care

  • Inpatient and outpatient coverage

  • Covering Chicago clinic and hospitals in the South Region

Education/Certifications:

  • Masters of Nursing Degree as APRN/CNP

  • 2 years RN experience preferred or 1 year APRN/CNP experience in the relevant setting preferred.

  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Proficiency with an Electronic Medical Record

  • National certification as a CNP from an accredited body

  • Current Illinois APRN License

  • Current Illinois Registered Nurse license.

  • Current Illinois Controlled Substance or License within 6 months of hire

  • Eligible for DEA registration or Possession of a current DEA Registration within six months of hire

  • Current BLS Certification

  • Current PALS/ACLS certification may vary based on practice site.
