Operations Group Team Chief

HOW THE OPERTIONS GROUP TEAM CHIEF WILL MAN AN IMPACT:

• Responsible for the performance of work within the Operations Group (Ops Grp) by assigned contracted personnel. Add relevant responsibilities and describe impact.
• Coordinates with the OPS Group Commander and leadership and Contracted Program Manager ensuring tasks, deliverables and products are completed to standard and submitted on-time.
• Serves as the on-site GDIT site lead responsible for the coordination and execution of administrative requirements for all GDIT employees supporting the MCTP Program.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Education: bachelor’s degree (required); master’s degree (preferred)
• Required Experience: Possess a minimum of 15 years supervisory experience; At least 10 years’ experience with military training and training management.
• Required Technical Skills: CGSC/ILE or equivalent level military schooling (MEL 4). Highly desirable War College (MEL 1) graduate or equivalent; Former field grade officer. Highly desirable to be retired colonel (O-6) equivalent or above.
• Security Clearance Level: Top-Secret SCI
• Required Skills and Abilities: Successfully served in a key developmental position at brigade/battalion level. Highly desirable to have served in Division/Corps level staff positions; Be current on all Army and Joint regulations and current doctrine.
• Preferred Skills: Have a full understanding of Army’s Mission Command Training Program (MCTP)
• Location: Ft. Leavenworth, KS

The likely salary range for this position is $110,614 - $138,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
