Financial Analyst - Communications/Networking Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

Financial support to business areas through financial analysis, budgeting, planning & forecasting; to facilitate decision making and future business strategies. Ad hoc projects as needed, partnering with networking team to ensure alignment between business priorities and financial impacts.

As a member of Oracle's finance organization, you will be responsible for providing all aspects of financial support for planning and control. 

• Assist in consolidation and reporting of financial results; preparation of annual budget. 
• Gather, model, analyze, prepare, and summarize information for financial plans, operating forecasts, trended future specifications, etc.; on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis. 
• Prepares recommendations based on analysis. 
• Learn about the networking business, including circuit types, third party providers and how data center growth drives the need for network capacity. 
• Apply that knowledge to financial modeling and participation in projects within finance and/or with the business.
• You may participate in cross functional programs and projects. This is a fast-paced and dynamic environment which requires successful candidates to be able to work independently or collaboratively depending on the project.

 

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant work experience, preferably with experience with cloud, networking, or cloud infrastructure.
• Relevant FP&A experience - consolidation of financial results, preparation of annual budget, variance analysis, etc.
• BS/BA in Accounting/Finance preferred. CPA/MBA desired.
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• Self starter and able to prioritize given responsibilities

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $70,600 to $141,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
