We are searching for a Construction Project Manager or Superintendent who will be in charge of delivering significant projects that are highly important to our customer. You will make strategic and technical choices on the project schedule, budget, and resource requirements, and you'll lead with an eye toward delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Programmatically managing the department's requirements for science initiatives
• Project management experience but would also consider strong commercial managers with demonstrable management skills.
• Stakeholder management experience (design team, contractor, client, other specialist input)
• Collaborating with the technical manager and unit heads to ensure efficient distribution of technical resources among the various programs.
• Overseeing efficient team communication, supporting the sponsor in meetings with stakeholders, and setting project milestones and deliverables.
• Monitoring and reporting on program performance, in particular planning, budgeting, and monitoring, as well as the overall execution of the strategy.
• Ensuring the removal of barriers to the execution of a strategy and organizing the discovery and use of innovative solutions to these barriers.
• Creating a business case and project management plan in collaboration with the project sponsors to outline the execution of the projects within their respective programs
• End to end Lifecycle management 
• Perform additional duties as assigned 

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Project manager with experience and a background in engineering
• Delivering complex technical projects on schedule, on budget, and with success in the past
• A commitment to making sure that optimum project management methods are used and that a culture of effective delivery is created
• Experience with Data Centers or Mission Critical Projects (Preferrable)
• Good commercial awareness and the ability to make wise financial decisions that maximize project value. 
• Excellent influencing and teamwork abilities
• Knowledge of contemporary standards in the fields of quality assurance and safety, health, and the environment
• Knowledge of change management and document control systems
• Desirable standards and qualifications
