Salary ranges from $66,000 - $70,000 annually depending on Experience and Qualifications.
Position Summary:
Supervises educational and clinical aspects of programming for children in a NY Chapter 853 residential school program. This includes observing and analyzing learning behaviors, evaluating progress, case review, coordinating activities, and recommending program modifications. The clinical coordinator will also provide staff training, supervision and feedback.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Recommend evidence-based methods of assessment and instruction.
• Supervise staff members as assigned (monthly COUNT meeting, approve timesheets, provide corrective action and training, etc.).
• Coordinate and schedule student program reviews; ensure appropriate documentation and follow through.
• Participate in screenings of new students when needed to determine appropriateness of referral.
• Conduct site checks for quality and compliance.
• Ensure carryover and consistency of student programming across settings (home and school).
• Assess and improve staff competencies, service plan implementation and knowledge base using Behavior Skills Training methods.
• Support leadership team in applicable administrative functions and initiatives.
• Adheres to all applicable agency policies, oversight regulations and ethical guidelines.
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
• Bachelor’s required. Master’s and NYS licensure/certification in related field preferred (Special Education, Behavior Analysis, School leadership, etc.).
• Supervisory experience required.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in or knowledge of using a variety of computer software and e-mail applications, especially Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word; have the aptitude to learn other computer software as necessary.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. independently and assist in lifting weights exceeding 50 lbs.
• Meet the requirements to drive Springbrook vehicles as required.
• Be able to perform all physical interventions.
