What if we could use any of that historical data to predict the future? The fact is, in most cases we can make predictions through Machine Learning and AI, but to do so in a meaningful and impactful way, historical data needs to be accurate, comprehensive, and absent of bias. 

In order to make the best predictions, we believe internal teams with domain expertise should be responsible for annotating and curating data. We are excited to announce that Heartex has recently raised $25 million in Series A funding, bringing our total funds raised to $30 million from notable investment partners Redpoint Ventures, Unusual Ventures, Bow Capital, Swift Ventures, as well as angel investors.

About the Opportunity:

Label Studio Enterprise is being used by some of the most innovative companies in the world. With the rapid growth of our user base it is critically important that we keep pace with them and provide new business value quickly. Heartex is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to develop beautiful, engaging user facing features for our customers. If you're drawn to engineering challenges and have a strong desire to make a big impact as part of a small, agile team in an exciting space, we'd love to talk to you.

You would be joining several other frontend engineers to collaborate on new and interesting features as well as improving upon existing ones. As a senior member of the team you will participate in all aspects of the development process including story grooming, technical design, coding, code reviews, QA, and delivery. To ensure we are building optimal solutions you will collaborate with Product, back end devs, and other stakeholders to develop new features. The team will look to you to help establish standards for style, maintainability, and best practices. As well as maintain and advocate for these standards through the feature development and code reviews. We will look to you to identify areas of improvement in the code base and contribute to make it better. Drive change by being an advocate for these improvements. Leaning on your experience you will provide leadership and mentorship to teammates.

What You'll Bring:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing frontend applications
• Professional experience with React web framework. Experience with other frameworks like Angular is a plus.
• Passionately detail-oriented, faithfully recreating the spirit of visual designs as code, but also providing expertise and judgment in execution
• Dedication to automation across the board: testing, coding standards, deployment, configuration management, etc.
• A strong understanding of semantic HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts
• Understanding of common web security issues, such as XSS, CSRF, SQL Injection, etc.
• Professional experience developing applications that consume REST APIs
• Experience using CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Typescript and React state management libraries like Jotai or Redux
• Experience with Jest, Cypress, Codecept. Experience with Test Driven Development is desirable.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning and specifically MLOps HIGHLY desirable
