At GDIT, people are our differentiator. Our work depends on a BMC Helix Developer who designs and develops solutions using BMC Helix Digital Workplace (DWP) service development including Asset management and Dashboard development.  Our team implemented BMC Helix as an enterprise-wide IT Service Management (ITSM) solution for a federal government agency and is building out additional capabilities.

HOW A SOFTWARE DEVELOPER SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

• Design and develop solutions using BMC Helix Digital Workplace (DWP) service development including Asset management and Dashboards
• Collaborate with the customer and team to design a long-term implementation roadmap and develop future BMC Helix capabilities
• Document the customer’s requirements, customizations, and changes
• Analyze the customer’s requirements and develop and design solutions using BMC Helix to satisfy those requirements
• Responsible to know and convey ITIL and ITSM process flows within BMC Helix
• Provide BMC Helix technical leadership to support process improvement efforts
• Perform evaluation of alternatives for BMC Helix out-of-the-box vs. custom solutions with an assessment of risks and costs

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree
• Required Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of BMC Remedy/Helix development experience, specifically with BMC Helix Digital Workplace (DWP) service development experience
• Required Technical Skills: Asset Management development, Dashboard development
• Required Skills and Abilities: Developer experience with BMC Helix Digital Workplace (DWP) service development
• Preferred Skills: Asset Management development, Dashboard development
• Location: Hybrid from Bossier City or remote with strong preference for Louisiana based candidates

The likely salary range for this position is $83,096 - $154,211. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
