Senior Accountant - Las Vegas

The Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting the General Ledger team of Caesars Digital - Las Vegas, Nevada in preparing accounting records and administering financial processes. Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Gaining knowledge of sportsbetting systems and underlying calculations.
• Creating and reviewing detailed, complex spreadsheets.
• Adhering to GAAP principles, SOX compliance and internal controls.
• Preparing and reviewing reconciliations and journal entries.
• Training and coaching staff accountants.
• Aiding staff accountants with problem solving and researching discrepancies.
• Assisting Accounting Managers with Lease and Contract Accounting.
• Preparing monthly, quarterly and bi-annual/annual revenue and profit shares.
• Overseeing partner billing submissions and partner receivables.
• Preparing quarterly, bi-annual and annual business licenses.
• Communicating monthly results and maintaining relationships with sportsbook partners.
• Assisting with internal and external audit requests as required.
• Supporting Accounting Managers and upper-management with adhoc requests as required.
• Prepared to assist and support their team members when required and work as a cohesive unit.
• Upholding departmental policies, procedures and quality standards.
