About the Role:

We are currently looking for an IT Production Planning & MRP Specialist who will be part of IT Manufacturing Center of Expertise (COE) Team. COE manufacturing belongs to Industrial and supply chain – quality platform, together with COE Smart Factory, COE Quality and COE Supply Chain. An extensive and intense collaboration is the daily routine inside the platform, and of course with all other business partners, IT platforms and IT cross functions.

As an architect, main partners are global and geographical accounts inside the platform, the platform leader and the PM team. Of course, external PMs and partners, plus all business stakeholders, are main point of contacts of the role too.

The role of the application architect requires big flexibility in managing multiple projects and partners in parallel, identifying and designing infrastructure and application components that are needed to support the business operations. Not of less importance is to manage related lifecycle and enhancements of our IT applications, ensuring that uniform enterprise wide design standards are maintained. Supporting the accounts of the platform in software selection is a part of the role too

Main Responsibilities:

 

• Responsible for designing, developing and maintaining applications and technical architecture solutions for the area of production and MRP planning (SAP ECC and S/4). Ensure IT applications are aligned with Ferrero’s business strategy & IT Target Architecture.

• Develop, maintain and support Production applications in SAP PP-PI technologies/module that meet Business Requirements managing the application lifecycle from implementation up to retirement

• Align application landscape to business requirements. Define and maintain the application strategy and architecture to support the business operations and manage related lifecycle and enhancements. Design major aspects of the architecture of an application or infrastructure technology.

• Work on the 3rd level ticket support related to SAP Production area, ensuring timely communication and resolution of support tickets and related project work, focusing on guaranteeing business continuity.

• Oversee and fix any potential or discovered defects and performance problems in system maintenance & performance, by design and code review.

• Provide technical expertise and guidance to external resources, assign capabilities, and collaborate with other IT and business teams in cross initiatives/projects/run activities. Through proactive monitoring of consultants activities, during design, configuration and testing phase, identifying and evaluate IT Enhancement/Improvement requests in SAP PP-PI applications.

• Ensure quality and timing of the delivery of his team, collaborating with stakeholders on application and component design. Manage assigned streams in line with overall program(s) timing and milestones.

• Application & Infrastructure Strategy for assigned geography and technologies:

  • Leads architecture for assigned capabilities, identifies improvements or consolidation opportunities

  • Proactively provides recommendations to support IT strategy

 

Who we are looking for:

 

• Master degree in IT, Engineering or Business Management

• Good experience in SAP PP-PI or SAP PP modules (including MRP)

• Experienced in SAP Planning systems (APO, IBP) and MII is appreciated
