Manufacturing Operations Analyst

Leidos Dynetics is seeking a talented Manufacturing Operations Analyst to join a diverse team that is creating unique manufacturing solutions for our growing Defense Department customers!  With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Leidos Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

Ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing, documenting, and launching business analysis and data automation tools in a manufacturing environment.  Applicant will work with a multi-disciplinary team to optimize the production of key defense and aerospace projects.

Primary Responsibilities

Candidate will support tasks such as factory metric development and sustainment, real-time and semi real-time production dashboard creation, and resource utilization reporting.  Most importantly, the candidate will accelerate the availability of data insights through data automation and visualization to facilitate data-driven decision making on the shop floor.

Candidate will be required to work closely with the IT, manufacturing engineering, business applications, quality, and fulfillment teams.  Candidate will also work to grow these development capabilities within the plant network through training, documentation and knowledge transfer.

Basic Qualifications

• Candidate will have a BS degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field from an accredited university with 8 or more years of relevant experience.  In lieu of a degree, a high school diploma/GED with 12 or more years of experience will be considered.

• Must have at least 4 years of experience on programs designing and building hardware to government specifications (or similar) in a production environment.

• Candidate must have a robust understanding of materials and inventory management practices within a production environment.

• Must be proficient with MS Excel and MS Power BI as well as have a robust understanding of the MS Power Platform. 

• Candidate must have experience with data query programming languages (SQL, DAX, M) and an understanding of relational database design.

• Candidate should have knowledge of system process documentation, facilitation, training, and change management for business system changes and implementations.

• Candidate should have good communication skills and the ability to transfer knowledge, train other people, a positive attitude to problem solving, and ability to work in a team environment.

• Candidate will have change management experience with ability to identify process or system gaps with ability to propose and implement changes to resolve.

• Experience working with standards and implementation of standards across cross-functional teams.

• Excellent verbal and written communication as well as project management skills required. 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Costpoint Material Planning software (ERP), Aegis FactoryLogix, Solumina Manufacturing Execution System (MES) software, and Agile or Windchill (PLM) software is a plus.

• Experience with Material Resource Planning (MRP) is a plus.

• Experience in training roles is also a plus.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
