Job Description
- With general autonomy develops, executes, and sustains employee development projects of a global scale in alignment with HR strategy
- Owns the development, execution, and sustainment of strategic programs or projects in the assigned segment of global learning programs
- Drives initiatives defined by senior leadership that produce results that benefit our internal customers based on the program/project
- Manages programs and ensures alignment exists with cross-departmental business partners
- Engages with external vendors in partnership with internal procurement teams
- Manages budgets associated with program or project in partnership with internal finance teams, including assets associated with assigned learning segment
- Leads teams effectively to execute on deliverables as defined by program/project
- Executes learning and development projects that are successful given scope, budget, and time constraints and limitations
- Applies continuous improvement initiatives to improve metrics associated with key projects/programs (cost, service quality execution, employee development timelines) and stays abreast of industry-related advancements and opportunities
- Partners with related peers to achieve departmental objectives as specified by global training management/HR leadership teams
- Must hold expertise in project/program management, adult learning, and competency development skillsets
Requirements
- 6-8 years of experience on the learning and development team within a product service line or support function required
- Completion of an undergraduate degree in a related field (engineering, business, human resources, education) required
