About The Role
The Director, People Operations will support the people strategy and operations of the company. Reporting to the Vice President, People Operations & Total Rewards, this senior leader will lead the People Operations team in all aspects of managing people-related business processes and policies. We are looking for a leader with an understanding of what constitutes excellence in systems, infrastructure, and processes within a high-growth organization, and who can build and motivate a team, driving them to achieve outstanding results.
About The Team
The People Team's mission is to help talent across the organization to make an impact while improving for the future. We are global in nature and focuses on client service while being genuine, authentic, and empathetic to employees and their needs across the organization.
About You:
- You have 8+ years experience in human resources leadership working across a diverse portfolio of companies and industries
- You have at least 2 years of hands-on experience, using and administering Workday as your HRIS
- You have experience with complex global corporate structures and understand how best to lead people systems, technology and processes in a global environment
- You can lead the work of a team, delegating and assigning work and managing team outcomes. You combine the need to empower a team with the understanding that delegation is relative to capability to ensure success
- You excel at process management, process documentation, and ensuring that processes receive regular review and auditing to be in a state of regular improvement
- You are great at program and project management–meaning you can lead the team but also when rolling out a program or process you approach it like a project to be led
- You have hands-on experience leading People administrative processes such as onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining accurate employee data
- You have experience developing and delivering the best employee experience for the attraction and retention of top talent
- You have a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
- You have experience handling confidential and important information. You show integrity, and trust-building behaviors in all dealings. This is important and required in this role
- You have a Master's degree in Human Resources / Business Administration, or commensurate experience
A day in the life of our Director, People Operations:
- You will work with senior leaders to develop policies and programs that support our goals, and align with our business strategy
- You will collaborate with partners to develop and deliver a great onboarding and offboarding process
- You will escalate issues for troubleshooting and resolving process issues as it relates to onboarding, offboarding, and employee data updates
- You will improve to our People processes and workflows ensuring the best, people-first experience
- You will have responsibility for maintaining updated employee data in all People systems
- You will implement scalable global people operations, strategies and infrastructure, refining current people operations to automate processes to ensure consistency, accuracy, and the best services
- You will develop a people operations team that is committed to providing excellent service to team members and supporting our success
- You will identify and address people-related risks and opportunities, while also developing a knowledge base to allow your team to provide the best support to employees across the globe
