Job Summary:

Assists with all facets of Accounts Payables workflow and handles specified tasks integral to department. Works with sensitive and confidential information, often involving the interpretation of policies and procedures to guide use.

Job Requirements:

Education and Work Experience:

  • High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
  • Associate’s/Technical Degree in accounting or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
  • Two years' relevant experience: Preferred

Essential Functions:

  • Receipts cash payments and insurance remittance advices. Reconciles and replenishes cash boxes. Balances the cash drawer.
  • Completes daily cash reconciliation sheet. Prepares daily deposit for the bank. Prepares and records monthly journal entries.
  • Prepares and maintains records for completion of Federal Form 1099-Miscellaneous Income.
  • Prints and distributes Accounts Payable and Patient Refund checks. Processes Accounts Payable invoices, Vendor Statements and checks for assign range of alphabets.
  • Scans accounts payable checks along with attached invoices and proper back up information for assigned range of alphabets.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
