Sentara Heart Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Surgical Stepdown Unit! (4HH)
Department Overview:
• This unit 36 bed unit provides high acuity cardiac care for pre and post cardiac surgery patients to include: bypass surgery, cardiac valve repairs/replacements, thoracic surgery/lung diagnostics, and other cardiac based procedures and treatments.
• Dedicated to high quality care, patient outcomes, safety and teamwork is a standard of the staff
• Nurses handle 3-4 patients on this unit based on acuity level

Full time day shift. New grads are welcome to apply, and also can be apart of our nurse residency program.

Education: Diploma RN, associate degree RN, bachelor’s degree RN, or master’s degree RN. All new RNs who do not have their BSN will be required to sign a BSN Agreement committing to enrollment in an accredited RN to BSN program within 24 months of hire and successfully obtaining their BSN within 5 years of hire.
All Direct Care RNs required to have BLS within 90 days of hire.
