Overview:

Sentara Heart Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Surgical Stepdown Unit! (4HH)

Department Overview:
• This unit 36 bed unit provides high acuity cardiac care for pre and post cardiac surgery patients to include: bypass surgery, cardiac valve repairs/replacements, thoracic surgery/lung diagnostics, and other cardiac based procedures and treatments.
• Dedicated to high quality care, patient outcomes, safety and teamwork is a standard of the staff
• Nurses handle 3-4 patients on this unit based on acuity level

Up to $20,000 Sign on Bonus available for qualified candidates!    Relocation assistance available.

Full time day shift. New grads are welcome to apply, and also can be apart of our nurse residency program.

As a Registered Nurse with Sentara, you can excel in your career. Education:  Diploma RN, associate degree RN, bachelor’s degree RN, or master’s degree RN.   All new RNs who do not have their BSN will be required to sign a BSN Agreement committing to enrollment in an accredited RN to BSN program within 24 months of hire and successfully obtaining their BSN within 5 years of hire.

All Direct Care RNs required to have BLS within 90 days of hire.
