Job Summary:
The Staff Accountant provides accounting support to our dynamic HVAC business.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities*:
- Provide assistant in reconciling truck inventory for our fleet of vehicles
- Assist with quarterly warehouse inventory
- Provide job costing support when necessary
- Work in Process review ensuring that all data and equipment is identified
- Manage some Human Resources duties including but not limited to New Hire Orientation and reporting of employee job changes
- Update weekly commissions report and partner with AR/AP colleagues as needed
- Manage daily journal entries
- Track and manage weekly employee purchases
- Assist with Month End close processes
- Follows all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to safety.
- Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
- Associates degree in Accounting
- 4-5 years in Accounting
- Knowledge of WIP accounting
- Working knowledge of Excel
- Must be able to communicate in English effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work overtime with little notice; weekends hours may occasionally be required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- HVAC industry experience.
