A Day in the Life

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the development of medical device package labeling for the Cardiac Ablation Solutions business. You will also assist with label development in related businesses and will participate in driving consistency and accuracy of format and content across all products and locations.

You will perform a wide variety of complex duties, under general supervision, in all areas related to labeling. Including but not limited to; interacting with product design team to identify label requirements and content information, developing label design and verification testing, creation and approvals of design documentation, proofreading, leading label review activities, maintaining and improving labeling processes and communicating to global stakeholders.

You will work with the project Packaging Engineer to create and release labeling components interfacing with product development teams, manufacturing sites, regulatory and reliability engineers.

This role will be hybrid – based in our Mounds View office
  • Create or support development of various required labeling components, including labeling design input requirements, label content specifications and final label image specifications

  • Develop plan, manage and monitor timelines and process of new and revised labeling ensuring all deadlines are met

  • Review, and release labeling for package labels ensuring that they meet all documented design inputs

  • Identify potential improvements to the labeling development processes, tools and/or policies

  • Coordinate the translations of package labeling through internal or external sources

  • Work with labeling system database(s) related to development of required label information

  • Create, review, and reproduce text required for labeling medical products

  • Monitor changes in labeling regulations in the US and/or abroad

  • Monitor, evaluate and recommend improvements to labeling processes, quality, systems tools and/or policies

Must Haves

Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of Labeling experience OR advanced degree

Nice to Have

  • Degree in Packaging Engineering, Graphic Design, or Computer Science

  • Previous database driven labeling system experience (Loftware, Prisym 360, Transform)

  • Comfortable learning and using new computer systems and programs

  • Knowledge of US and international medical device regulations and standards, especially those related to labeling

  • Experience working with Adobe Illustrator and/or other graphic design programs

  • Experience in proofreading/editing

  • Experience in Agile and/or Windchill

  • Highly detail oriented

  • Experience working in business systems including Excel and other Microsoft Office programs

  • Experience working with global teams

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$73,600.00 - $110,400.00
