🧑🏻‍💻 About the role

First things first: you want to know what you’re actually applying for. It’s impossible to capture every nuance of a role – especially at a rapidly growing company like Mews – but if we had to distil it down to a job description (which we do because this is a job description), it would be this:

We are looking for a Data Analyst who will strengthen our Data Insights team at Mews to help us deliver meaningful and actionable data insights across Mews and enable our organization to make knowledgeable decisions. You will be responsible for building Looker reports, making ad-hoc data analysis, helping others interpret their data and developing / maintaining our Core Data model used across RnD.

A strong candidate will thrive in an environment which is constantly evolving and does not sacrifice attention to detail and accuracy. You apply these principles on a daily basis whilst analysing our data and interpret often complex trends or patterns in order to identify improvements.

✅ Your mission, should you choose to accept it:

• Helping design and own internal projects within the Data Insights team
• Focus on delivering business value from data through actionable insights (building data models and preparing reports)
• Prepare ad-hoc data analysis
• Work on various cross-functional data projects involving our product teams, business operations and marketing
• Deliver best practices in reporting across our Looker platform
• Assist with Looker admin and platform management

🤝️ You’ll be a great fit if you bring a few of the below with you:

• You are passionate about technology, and you look for innovative solutions to common problems
• You are a team player that is not afraid to help your colleagues.
• High level of proficiency in SQL
• Strong data visualisation skills
• Experience with building BI reports in tools like Looker, Power BI, or Tableau
• Experience with Python for data analysis is a plus
• Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively in English both verbally and in writing
