Assistant Manager, Informatics - FPG (First Physicians Group)

Job Summary

This leader has accountability and oversight, and supervises the daily activities of the department, shift or area. In this role, the leader sets the tone and models positive leadership behavior, while ensuring successful completion of individual and teamwork tasks, projects, and responsibilities in support of departmental and organizational goals.

Required Qualifications

- Require a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent field; relevant years of work experience can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required education.- Require seven (7) years of experience working with medical billing software and business intelligence tools.

- Prefer demonstrated ability in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.- Prefer demonstrated communication skills at all levels.- Prefer demonstrated knowledge in medical group information needs.- Prefer demonstrated leadership skills and understanding of group processes, teamwork, and site/cost center-based management.- Prefer the ability to analyze problems and consistently follow through on the solution.- Prefer the ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment, decision-making, and problem solving expertise.

Position is located at SMH Support Service Building - Main Street, downtown Sarasota.
