Key Responsibilities & Duties
In order of significance, list the essential functions and responsibilities of the position.
Build structures that activate on the vision to bring portfolio practices to life at Alkami. For example: enforcing Jira hygiene and implementing quarterly planning for agile teams.
Conduct data-driven analysis by synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data to uncover trends, insights, and recommendations.
Drive stakeholder alignment by leading workshops and facilitating consensus across teams.
Translate complex business challenges into clear documentation, including use cases, user stories, and functional requirements.
Partner with product managers and engineers to ensure alignment with business outcomes.
Enhance cross-functional collaboration by acting as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams.
Develop visual artifacts (e.g., Google slides, process flows, journey maps) to aid in decision-making and implementation.
Improve product and process performance by identifying bottlenecks and recommending optimization opportunities.
Contribute to strategic planning by supporting roadmap discussions with insights and structured documentation.
Promote best practices by sharing knowledge of product tools, techniques, and frameworks across the organization as Portfolio structures are brought to life.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent experience.
5+ years of Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field experience or 3+ years with an advanced degree.
Required Experience
Demonstrated ability to structure and communicate complex business problems and solutions and gain buy-in
Proficiency in Jira, spreadsheets, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Experience working with Agile methodologies and scrum teams
Experience participating in Quarterly Planning
Experience working in or closely alongside Product Management organizations
Experience managing competing priorities and driving alignment among multiple stakeholders
