Job description
As an Application Engineer at Capgemini, you will contribute to the flawless integration of transmission systems and vehicle platforms, aligning with technical specifications and organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead external interface development between transmission systems and vehicle platforms, ensuring alignment with packaging and functional requirements.

Collaborate with multi-functional teams to define interface matrices and vehicle adaptation studies, ensuring compliance with clearance and functional objectives.

Drive the development and approval of product specifications, user documentation, and compliance standards.

Supervise coordination of design changes, prototype hardware, and Build Readiness Team (BRT) tasks for seamless product adaptation.

Lead external supplier and internal customer relationships to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.

Define and supervise alignment with robust vehicle and system-level functional objectives, addressing product limitations and negotiating requirements as needed.
Required Skills:
-
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (or equivalent experience).

Hands-on experience with transmission or driveline components, powertrain adaptation, and vehicle system testing.

Proficiency in DFMEA, DVP&R, and casting/injection molding processes; familiarity with Microsoft and Google efficiency tools.

Strong analytical skills with Six Sigma (Shainin/DFSS) knowledge preferred.

Tried ability to lead multi-functional projects and communicate optimally in corporate environments.

Knowledge of electric motor applications, manufacturing processes, and quality assurance in automotive systems.
