As an unarmed patrol officer in a busy healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control and respond to calls for assistance with clear communication and strong customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including dispatching appropriate notifications and documenting activity per site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout hospital buildings, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and public areas, assist with wayfinding and visitor guidance, and support staff with de-escalation and security-related presence when requested.
• Complete required reports and logs, communicate status updates to supervisors and/or client representatives, and support investigations by preserving observations and details per post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
