Job Summary:
As an important member of the research team, the Research Services Laboratory Sciences Professional will support the Associate Professor, with basic science research in the topic area of “PD-L1 regulation during liver disease and homeostasis.” This position is accountable for meeting study-specific goals and timelines, while also performing and assisting with research tasks. This position communicates appropriately and effectively with investigators and other team members, has outstanding customer service skills, and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical laboratory work related to immunology and molecular biology including biochemical analysis, quantitative PCR, cell culture, flow cytometry, western blot, cloning, mouse handling and dissection.
Utilizing specialized knowledge and sophisticated research techniques examining liver immunology.
Implementation of schedule methodology, timeline, and lab book.
Collecting, recording, analyzing, and presenting data, development and writing of manuscripts and presentations.
Assisting with general lab tasks and lab maintenance.
Assist faculty with development and writing of research protocols.
Meeting with the project Principal Investigator on a weekly basis for the purpose of progress updates and mentoring.
Work Location:
Onsite – this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, CO.
