The Oregon Department of Corrections is hiring for a Dentist limited duration part-time for one year, though may be extended or decreased due to business need, to go between Eastern Oregon Correctional Institution (EOCI) in Pendleton and Two Rivers Correctional Institution in Umatilla, Oregon. Pay listed above is for a full-time employee, salary would range by hours worked. This recruitment will be used to establish a list of qualified applicants and could be used to fill future vacancies.

About the Job – Your Role

You will provide professional chairside dental procedures, consistent with community standard in a correctional setting to an adult in custody population. You will adhere to established time frames for procedures.

This position is represented by American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees (AFSCME). This position may be eligible for Police & Fire (P&F) benefits through Public Employees Retirement System (PERS), as defined by statute.

Minimum Qualifications

You must have a current unencumbered Dentist's license issued by the Oregon Board of Dentistry at the time of appointment.

The department prefers that licensees have had no previous discipline with the Oregon Board of Dentistry, or with Boards of any other states.
