Job Description

AECOM/Hunt is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager with experience in automotive industrial construction for our ongoing construction project with General Motors.

• Responsible for the overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies. 
• Provides management and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface. 
• Oversees and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors. 
• Responsible for administering the project from the pre-construction budgeting/schedule stage through procurement, shop drawing/coordination development, construction, space turnover and contract closeout. Position has significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned construction project.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirement:

• BA/BS Engineering, Construction Management or relevant curriculum and 8 years of demonstrated industrial/manufacturing construction experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Preferred Requirements:

• 8-10 years of experience in industrial construction manufacturing.
• Experience in construction installation of mechanical process equipment.
• Strong MEP project management experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience in the automotive industry.
• BS Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred.
