Borrmann Metals powered by UPG is looking hire a Forklift Driver to join our dynamic team! Successful candidates will have ideally worked in the steel industry (but not required) and have a solid level of experience with the types of specialized products and services produced by steel service centers. We are looking for a detail-oriented candidate that is eager to learn and grow in this fast-paced environment. Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Using a forklift (36,000 lb. capacity) to pull orders
- Locate material, measure it for accuracy, verify that it meets requirements
- Prep for delivery to load onto trucks
- Load trucks
- Perform shipping and receiving duties, including verifying and documenting incoming and outgoing shipments
- Adhere to all OSHA regulations and company safety guidelines
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues or malfunctions
- Assist with inventory control by conducting cycle counts and maintaining accurate records
- Warehouse duties as assigned
Position Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Forklift Operator experience/certification highly preferred
- Able to work any shift (morning, afternoons, & evenings)
- Must be able to complete criminal background check and drug screen per company guidelines
