Position Summary:
Hope Valley Country Club is seeking a warm, professional, and highly organized Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for members and guests. This individual will play a vital role in setting the tone for an exceptional club experience by providing outstanding service, managing front desk operations, and supporting administrative needs across departments.
Key Responsibilities:

Greet all members and guests in a courteous, professional, and welcoming manner.

Answer phone calls and emails promptly; direct calls and messages to appropriate departments.

Provide accurate information about club services, events, hours of operation, and amenities.

Manage reservations for dining, events, tennis, and other club-related bookings.

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and lobby environment.

Support administrative tasks such as printing, copying, filing, and distributing member communications.

Log member requests or concerns and communicate them to the appropriate managers for follow-up.

Monitor member traffic to ensure compliance with club policies and guest registration procedures.

Assist in preparation of club mailings and newsletters, if needed.

Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure seamless service and communication.
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Prior experience in a receptionist, concierge, or customer service role strongly preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Professional appearance and demeanor.

Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer literacy.

Experience with club or hospitality software (e.g., ClubEssential) is a plus.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications
Required Skills
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Basic bookkeeping skills.
- Basic understanding of how to operate standard business equipment.
