Service PC or/and IT Specialist

<p><u>Your responsibilities:</u><br/> • You fix malfunctions in postal and parcel systems using telephone and remote support.<br/> • You are responsible for the handling of support requests in projects and service contracts.<br/> • You are responsible for the technological system service (trainings, inspections, maintenance, remote diagnostics etc.).<br/> • You independently perform the hotline process and customer communication and work in close cooperation with the team and the development colleagues. • You diagnose weak points and independently solve faults (hardware and software) with focus on logistical processes, operating technology, material flow and plant interfaces.<br/> • You create and maintain the maintenance documentation for the implementation of maintenance and inspection services, as well as service<br/> procedures for our products and systems.<br/> • You will familiarize yourself with the implementation of engineering and commissioning tasks.<br/> • You maintain a constant know-how exchange with colleagues and the development team.</p> <p> </p> <p><u>Your qualification and profile:</u><br/> • You successfully completed a 3-year vocational technical education, or alternatively have a degree in computer science or a comparable field of study.<br/> • You established your professional experience in engineering, software development or service.<br/> • You have a high level of commitment and initiative as well as the experience and motivation to analyze software related incidents, to fix technical problems,<br/> to perform software inspections and to create incident documentation.<br/> • You have experience in SW programming and commissioning of IT systems in Java, C++, databases (especially Oracle) and with application servers (e.g.<br/> Websphere or BEA Weblogic)</p> <p>• Patching and scripting of application software like Windows OS and VMWare are well known to you desirable you know our products LCMBase and VarioSC or MC2000.<br/> • You have very good knowledge of common server systems and network technology as well as usage of server cluster solutions and their design.</p> <p>You have a very good understanding of the material flow of logistics systems and plants as well as their technical interfaces (e.g. mechanics, electrical <br/> engineering, control and automation technology and IT systems).<br/> • Confident handling of the "ServiceNow" platform is desirable.</p> <p>• You are willing to be part of an international located team, perform on-call duties 24/07, work at different times and to travel internationally.<br/> • You are a team player and you stand out due to your independent way of working, your high social skills, confident demeanor and the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new subject areas.</p> <p>• You are communicative, assertive and reliable.<br/> • You have a very good command of written and spoken English. <br/> • Other language skills are an advantage, especially German.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>If you are interested in this position, please, do not hesitate to contact with our HR department in this e-mail: koerber.rrhh.es.sc.pl@koerber.com</p>
