Senior Accountant

Overview

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL

Kelley Kronenberg is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing Accounting and Finance Department.

 

This critical role will work closely with the Controller and CFO to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, compliance with GAAP standards, and efficient month-end and quarter-end closings.

 

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of accounting experience, a strong understanding of both cash and accrual accounting, and expertise in managing journal entries, financial statement validation, and general ledger oversight. A CPA designation or progress toward obtaining it is Required.

 

This position offers an exciting opportunity to implement and monitor accounting protocols, oversee compliance, and contribute to strategic financial planning. You’ll also collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline business processes, utilize tools like Microsoft Excel and PowerBI for advanced analytics, and support ad hoc requests from leadership.
