Join our team as a Senior Regional Account Team Manager for the California Commercial & Industrial downstream portfolio of programs in northern, central, and southern California regions. This position’s primary role is to both lead and perform, being a “hands-on” leader who actively participates in the work while guiding a highly skilled team of Account Managers to: support program recruitment efforts, become a customer’s trusted energy advisor, collaborate with customers, vendors, and CLEAResult’s engineering team to develop energy efficiency projects, and then manage and complete incentive funding application packages for those projects.
This role will be based out of our CLEAResult’s Oakland, CA office. Consideration for working remotely can be made for the right candidate.
In this role, you will:
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture focused on exceeding goals and model our CLEAResult values of Accountability, Trust and Transparency
- Serve as a customer advocate within the program, ensuring proactive communication and enhancing customer satisfaction
- Support efforts to expand, extend and overdrive the program
- Work to improve the Customer Satisfaction Score
- Lead the development and execution of strategic account plans that drive customer satisfaction and retention.
- Partner with Trade Allies and utility representatives to ensure that we have the right approach
- Lead the coordination of Account Management, Market Outreach, and other stakeholders to drive effective program participation
- Develop a lead tracking process and report to monitor KPI’s and assess the performance of the account management team
- Analyze data and customer feedback to provide regular program management updates on the status of key accounts, highlighting achievements, areas of opportunity, and strategic plans for continuous improvement and growth.
- Partner with program management and leadership to develop strategy and provide solutions that informs outreach, marketing, external training and education, and other key program activities which drive goal achievement.
In this exciting career opportunity, you will have...
- Bachelors degree required
- 5-10+ years of experience in account management and trade ally engagement, with a track record of successful client satisfaction, client retention and revenue growth.
- 5+ years of experience leading a team and possessing strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, develop a high-performing team and provide strategic leadership.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and definition of strategies.
- Proven track record of creating successful customer and market engagement strategies and campaigns.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite, Salesforce, and Project Management tools (e.g. Asana)
- Curiosity for the energy industry and a passion for driving changes in the way people use energy
- Ability to understand and effectively articulate technical concepts to various audiences

$121,800.00 - $182,800.00Currency
