You’ll bring your passion for problem solving and partner with various teams to influence decision-making for a product’s entire lifecycle. Your work will involve you optimizing product development to impact patients around the world with pioneering technology.


How you will make an impact:

  • Partner with stakeholders to design and develop basic technical and non-technical instructional activities (e.g., procedures, instructions, guidance materials, step guides, exams).

  • Respond to requests in the development of training course and/or exam/certification training materials.

  • Provide basic analysis on training course materials to evaluate and provide recommendations on appropriate training effectiveness measures.

  • Draft presentations and present summaries of trends, potential root causes, and recommended course corrections.

  • Gather and summarize data to develop basic criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities.

  • Other incidental duties.


What you'll need (Required):

  • Internship applicants must be enrolled in an accredited bachelor's, master's, or PhD program for the entire duration of their internship. Upon graduating, students are no longer eligible for an internship at Edwards.

  • Must graduate December 2024 or later.

  • Must be in good scholastic standing (3.0+ GPA or equivalent)

  • Must be available to work 10-12 weeks full-time over the course of the summer. Specific dates flexible depending on school schedule.

  • Strong interest in pursuing relevant industry experience within the healthcare and medical devices industry is a plus.

  • Must not require company sponsorship for an employment-based visa now or in the future.


What else we look for (Preferred):

  • Good computer skills in MS Office Suite (particularly PowerPoint).

  • Good written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills.

  • Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

  • Experience in Articulate 360, including Storyline and Rise is a plus.

  • Experience in graphic and visual design.

  • Good knowledge and understanding of Edwards policies, procedures, and guidelines relevant to quality compliance.

  • Good understanding of the process, products and services offered under governing procedures.

  • Full knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

  • Strict attention to detail.

  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must be able to work in a team environment, including immediate supervisor and other team members in the section or group.

  • Ability to build stable working relationships internally.

  • Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control.

For California, the base pay range for this position is $54,000 to $72,000 (highly experienced).
