Certified Nursing Assistant

Key responsibilities and day to day responsibilities of this position:

  • Provide care to inmate patients at the Utah State Correctional Facility
  • Provide assistance with activities of daily living
  • Perform vital signs and laboratory point-of-care testing
  • Provide care as supervised by a Registered Nurse

Please note: An offer of employment will be contingent on the applicant successfully passing a DHHS background
check and pre-employment drug testing, and a Utah Department of Corrections (UDC) background screening.

 

Qualifications

Minimum or "day-one" qualifications:

  •  Current and unrestricted certification as a certified nursing assistant.

Preferred or trainable/on-the-job qualifications: 

  •  Basic Life Support Certification
