Job Title: Full Stack Software Developer
Location: Salt Lake City, Utah
About the Role:
Everfox is looking for a full-time Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team building best-in-class cyber security products. As a member of our growing team, you will help design and develop technology solutions that are scalable, meaningful, and critical to our company’s success. The ideal candidate will have a strong Web UI development background and driven to pursue a career in enterprise application development. You will be working in an Agile environment, and contributing with your ideas, code, testing, and planning skills. The team is based in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Essential Activities Include:
Engineer full stack solutions that are technically sound, visually appealing, maintainable and provide an exceptional user experience
Work collaboratively with other software engineers, product managers, project managers and quality assurance engineers to deliver reliable, high value solutions
Research, design, develop, document, analyze, test, debug and integrate capabilities into new and existing applications
Verify product features are thoroughly implemented, ensuring all requirements are met, using robust technical solutions and only the highest quality coding standards
Demonstrate desire to learn new skills and tools as needed
Demonstrate flexibility to adapt to changing instructions and requirements
Required Education and Experience:
3+ years of experience in JavaScript web development, preferably with single page applications
Competent in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript ES6 or higher, and modern frameworks (Typescript, React, Angular, Bootstrap)
Experience writing tests for JavaScript applications (Playwright, Jest, Selenium)
Practical experience with Vite, Node.js, REST
Experience with the Adobe Suite and design principles (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD)
Strong understanding of how to design and implement REST APIs
Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Hibernate and JPA
Using Relational Database Management Systems, preferably Oracle and/or PostgreSQL
Comfortable using Linux, bash and Linux command line utilities
Working knowledge of Git for version control.
Qualifications:
Ability to obtain a US government security clearance
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, related technical discipline or equivalent work experience
Portfolio or samples of past work and projects
Nice to have:
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
Experience with data visualization libraries
Experience building automated testing
Experience using cloud technologies including Docker and Kubernetes as well as continuous delivery/continuous integration
