Compensation:

 

$27/HR - $36/HR

What You'll Do:

 

  • Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training and performance feedback.
  • Assign daily tasks and prioritize work orders to ensure timely completion of maintenance projects.
  • Foster culture of safety, teamwork and accountability.
  • CMMS Experience helpful 
  • Equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Perform troubleshooting repair and preventive maintenance on a variety of manufacturing equipment, including conveyor systems, hydraulic presses, sewing machines and other specialized machinery.
  • Ensure compliance with equipment maintenance schedules and maintain accurate service records.
  • Collaborate with the production team to address urgent repairs and minimize downtime.
  • Overseas, the maintenance and repair of the facility, including HVAC plumbing, electrical and structural systems.
  • Monitor and manage energy efficiency and facility safety standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and reduce costs through the process, enhancement or upgrades.
  • Work with engineering and production teams to implement new machinery or processes.
  • Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, supplies, ensuring availability to minimize downtime.
  • Monitor and manage the maintenance budget recommending cost effective solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA company safety standards and environmental regulations.
  • Conduct safety training and risk assessments for the maintenance team.
  • Lockout, tag out and arc flash training.

 

What You'll Bring:

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Bedding industry experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Previous maintenance experience within the mattress industry a plus
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, hand tools, and maintenance software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards.

Physical Demands:

 

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and working in industrial environments.
  • Comfortable working in varying conditions, including heat, cold, and noise.
