Supervisor, Security Operations Center

Job Summary

Manage the Security Operations Center (SOC) and ensure the Center is staffed properly and efficiently serving the needs of Loss Prevention and Corporate Security. The position will be responsible for the multiple Coordinators who will staff the center on a 24 hour, 7 days a week work schedule.

Job Description

• Experience Required: 3 to 5 years in Loss Prevention or Law Enforcement; Proficiency with CCTV; Familiarity with case management; Using multi-line phone network; supervisory management 
• Experience Desired: Scheduling shifts during off hours and weekends. Able to receive critical information and make decisions accordingly. Ability to properly document incidents both verbally and written. Must be willing to work non- traditional shifts for a 24/7 operations
• Education Desired: Bachelors Degree

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise the Security Operations Center and its multiple coordinators.  Train, manage, monitor and provide performance evaluations.  Provide constructive coaching.  Manage day to day workflow of the SOC
• Manage Hik Central, Genetec and Open Eye VMS software across all companies’ platforms and identify and resolve performance errors
• Attend meetings with various partners within the organization to ensure LP is providing necessary services.
• Review all reports generated by Coordinators and ensure for accuracy and proper action is taken.
• Review and approve all subpoena requests from Law Enforcement or other requesting entities.  
• Assist Coordinators with the identification of shoplifters by utilizing SOC technology.  Providing this information to store detectives for prosecution.
• Provide a schedule for the SOC to be staffed 24/7.
• Answer incoming calls to the SOC
