Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire a Housekeeper who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

As a Housekeeper you will:
• Provide a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment for patients, staff, and visitors through the effective and efficient performance of assigned
environmental services functions and tasks.
• Works with other departments to assist with extra cleaning duties as they arise.
• Assists with maintenance of supplies in housekeeping and notifies supervisor when refill orders are needed.
Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing
• Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
• Notify supervisor or manager on any damages, deficits and disturbances
• Keeping bathrooms stocked with supplies
• Monitoring cleaning supplies and ordering more as needed

Qualifications Include:
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
• Able to work quickly without compromising quality
• Advanced knowledge of cleaning products
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Flexibility and dedication to team environment
• Ability to work with diverse communities
• A high school diploma or GED is highly desired, but not required
• At least 1 year of housekeeping experience. Ability to communicate at a level, which allows for safe and efficient job performance.
• Ability to utilize supplies, tools and equipment safely and properly.

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday, and every other weekend 3:00-11:30 PM

Pay Range:

$18.00 - $22.79

If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.

Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), this position is classified as:

United States of America (Non-Exempt)
